The Department of History was established in the college in the year 1968. Ever since its inception, the department has made great strides. History is one of the popular subjects of studies in the college. Large number of students have scored very good marks in the University exams. The department has qualified teachers and is imparting quality teaching which is being reflected in the results. The teachers of the department are taking lot of interest in assisting the students in their studies.
After obtaining autonomous status in 2005 the syllabus has been updated keeping in view the needs of the students. |
