Labs at JSSCACS
- The laboratories are equipped with modern instruments and equipment required for the regular courses.
- The laboratories of Computer Science Department serve as a central facility of the college. The department has a good collection of software for several user application. The department also has a hardware lab.
- Personal attention to every student is given in the lab.

An ultra modern Bio-Technology lab has been set up at a cost of Rs.60 lakhs suitable for conducting experiments at P.G., Doctoral and Post Doctoral levels.

The NCC wing at JSSCACS
- The primary aim of NCC is to inculcate amongst college students a sense of patriotism, discipline, punctuality and all that is required for making them an ideal human being. Besides drill and weapon training, NCC organize training programmes in sports and adventure activities. The cadets have good incentives like reservation of seats in Engineering and Medical Colleges and in IMA (Indian Military Academy) OTA (Officers Training Academy)

- The Alumni Association is a registered body and is very active. In association with NSS and NCC units the association regularly conducts Blood Donation and Health Checkup Camps. A database of all the final year students has been created and is upgraded from time to time.

Supportive & Extra-curricular activities at JSSCACS
- To strengthen the current academic and research tempo the supportive activities such as Seminars, Symposia, Workshop and Conferences are arranged regularlly apart from other activities such as Drama, Monoacting, Music, Dance, Quiz, Essay competitions, Socio-cultural festivals, the Founder's day, College day, Teachers day, Ethnic day, National festivals like Independence day and Republic day.

Resease of Magazine at JSSCACS
- ‘Prathibha’ – the college magazine is an attempt to nurture and showcase the creative talents of students and to provide an ample scope to mirror the innate multifaceted qualities of the students.
The University of Mysore has adjudged ‘Prathibha’ as the second best magazine for the year 2003-2004.
